Double Exposure- Combining Outdoor Portraits & Landscape

posted in: Photography, Photoshop | 0

Using Photoshop to make double exposures is a great way to stretch your imagination and create really unique images! I was intimidated by this initially, but it is actually easier than it looks.   I followed a step by step you tube video for the ones below.  I’ve had so much fun doing these so I wanted to share what I’ve done up to this point.

This is my friend from MeetUp- I initially took the first two photos at one of the places we go Mountain Biking. Later, I had the idea to combine the two.

This is a photo of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction- one of my all time favorite places to go hiking!  This is the photo I used for the one of me (below this image).

Many of the double exposures you see are done with just the face. I thought it would be cool to do this one with my entire body. I took this image originally at Coon Bluff.

This is the first double exposure I did; I took the portrait in Apache Junction area and the landscape image in the White Mountains.

What are your thoughts on the double exposures?  Would love to hear your experience!  Thanks for taking the time to read this post-and have An Amazing Day!!
